BO & MO Head to NY When US is Bankrupt

May 31st, 2009 by Lee Hernly

Barack Obama, who recently stated that the US was ‘out of money’, and who has increased the National Debt 20% since taking office on January 20, spent more of yours and my hard earned tax dollars on Saturday. How? Flying himself, 500 staffers, the press, and more to New York City so he could take his wife on a date. Not to mention the NYPD overtime that was spent. This guy just doesn’t get it, we are out of money. What really got me was the drones that lined the streets cheering this idiot on. If the U.S. is out of money (and it is) how can one afford to take your wife on a date to New York? The trip including all of the press, staff, and security had to cost you and me and easy few million.

This guy is spending your kids money. Recently, USA Today reported that the average US household was on the hook for $55K more debt than the year before, a 12% increase. Each household in America now owes over $600K toward the US obligations. This guy Obama has added $10 trillion to the debt and he now wants us to have national health care.

I ask you, when is enough, enough? It is time to vote these politicians in Washington out of office.

Alexandria Democrats Hit Alicia Hughes

May 21st, 2009 by Lee Hernly

Wednesday’s (May 20, 2009) AlexandriaNews.org piece is a hit job on Alicia Hughes, the Republican-backed Independent candidate for Alexandria City Council who recently won a seat. This is clearly a hit job by the Democrats in Alexandria who were extremely upset at her winning a seat. Some even said the Alexandria Republican Party was engaging in “voter fraud” with their “plunking” strategy.

A lot of people have trouble with paying their bills. Property taxes are so high in Alexandria that it is amazing that anyone can afford to rent a place in the very blue area known as Alexandria, VA.

Tim Kaine & DNC Get Help From Obama

May 19th, 2009 by Lee Hernly

Was the speech by President Obama at Notre Dame a cover for the true reason for the trip? The President helped out his good buddy (who would have made a MUCH better choice as VP) and the DNC in closing the widening fundraising gap between the DNC and the RNC.

Donors in Indianapolis paid $15,000 to the DNC for an afternoon meet-and-greet with the President. The White claimed afterward that the President’s pledge to change campaign rules to ban such outrageous cash hauls was still in effect BUT would be acted on at a later time.

So much for change.

Obama Advisor David Axelrod Compares Miss Calif. Carrie Prejean to a Dog

May 19th, 2009 by Lee Hernly

This past weekend, Obama advisor David Axelrod compared Miss California, Carrie Prejean, to a Dog. I just have one question for you women out there who voted for these people. Why? You saw how they treated Sarah Palin during the election as well as the harsh treatment they gave Secretary Clinton during her run. People, whether they are a man or woman are entitled to their own opinion but, when you put down people this way, you are a moron.

Biden Reveals Location of Secret ‘Undisclosed Location’

May 18th, 2009 by Lee Hernly

Vice President Joe Biden has done it again.

What a dufus.

Newsmax has the following story:

Biden, who has a history of verbal blunders, has revealed the existence of a secret bunker intended to house the vice president in case of a national emergency or attack.

According to Newsweek magazine’s Eleanor Clift, Biden let the secret slip at the recent Gridiron Club dinner, and annual event attended by media members and high-power politicians. Clift reports that Biden admitted to those at his table that the bunker is located beneath the vice president’s official residence, located at the U.S. Naval Observatory near Washington, D.C.

It is likely that former Vice President Dick Cheney was hidden in the bunker – referred to as an “undisclosed location” – in the confusing aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

Newsweek’s story asserts that Biden “said a young naval officer giving him a tour of the residence showed him the hideaway, which is behind a massive steel door secured by an elaborate lock with a narrow connecting hallway lined with shelves filled with communications equipment.

“The officer explained that when Cheney was in lock down, this was where his most trusted aides were stationed, an image that Biden conveyed in a way that suggested we shouldn’t be surprised that the policies that emerged were off the wall.”

Good grief, why do Democrats keep electing people like this? He is quite simply the dumbest VP ever.
